The Ankeny Centennial Basketball Club was established in 2013. The club includes both boys and girls teams ranging from second grade through eight grade. The goal of the club is to introduce participants to the Jaguar basketball philosophy as well as exposing players to the fundamentals of the game while teaching sportsmanship, pride, dedication, and work ethic.

The ACBC is proud to have a high level of support from coaches Scott DeJong, Bob Fontana, and their staffs.  Both coaching staff’s work very closely with the ACBC board and its coaches to ensure that our participants are exposed to Jaguar basketball at it's best.

The Ankeny Centennial Basketball Club program is for any 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th, 7th, or 8th grade boy or girl that attends school in the Ankeny Centennial school district. The ACBC program will follow the Ankeny Centennial High School basketball philosophy and will impart that knowledge to all players. The ACBC program believes that all players, no matter what their talent level is, should demonstrate good character, morals, family values and solid academics.

The program will have a very strong emphasis on skill development.  All ACBC players will learn man-to-man defense (no zone defense is permitted), offensive concepts, extensive skill training and learn the terminology of the Ankeny Centennial High School Basketball programs. By the end of this program you will see improvement in your child's basketball IQ (knowledge of the game), basketball fundamentals and skill set, as well as a better knowledge of the Ankeny Centennial basketball system which puts them at an advantage as they enter High School.
