Structure of Boys Program for 2020-21 Season

 

Player Registration:

Registration opens on July 15st, and will close September 1st.

  1. Initial registration.  $10 at the time of registration for tryouts.  This is merely a registration so we have a head count for tryouts and for each team.
  2. The remainder of the entry fee is due on 9/1/20.

 

Try-outs & Next Steps:

  1. All players will be placed on a team. Due to Covid-19 this may change, we may have to limit our teams due to practice locations. 
  2. After try-outs on Sunday, August 23rd teams will be formed and communication will be prepared.
  3. You will receive an email on August 25th with your players’ team placement.  At that time you will need to pay the club fees by September 1st.
  4. We will NOT ordering new uniforms this year although the uniform information will be on your bid email or we will also have the ordering information on the website if your player needs a new size or you are new to the club and in need of a complete uniform.

 

Breakdown of teams based on grade level:

We anticipate 1 to 3 teams per grade level with 8-10 players per team.  However, adjustments will be made based on tryout numbers.  This is subject to change once we know from the schools if they will be renting gym space. 

2nd Grade:8-10 players per team – Teams will be divided equally based on skill

3rd Grade: 8-10 players per team – Teams will be divided equally based on skill

4th Grade: 8-10 players per team

  • We will have a “Tournament Team” and a “League Team” which will be decided based on commitment level and skill level of the players.

5th Grade: 8-10 players per team  – Teams will be divided based on skill level, with an “A” team, “B” team and “C” team if applicable

6th Grade: 8-10 players per team – Teams will be divided based on skill level, with an “A” team, “B” team and “C” team if applicable

7th Grade: 8-10 kids per team – Teams will be divided based on skill level, with an “A” team, and “B” team and "C" team if applicable

8th Grade: 8-10 kids per team – Teams will be divided based on skill level, with an “A” team, and “B” team and "C" team if applicable
