Breakdown of teams based on grade level:
We anticipate a varying degree of team per grade level based on participation, with 8-10 players per team. Adjustments will be made based on participation level with flexibility expected throughout the season. The ultimate goal is to ensure each girl is placed on a team(s) that will allow them to excel and have fun learning the game of basketball.
2nd & 3rd Grade: 8-10 players per team – Teams will be divided equally based on skill and other factors. We will be registering our ACBC teams in leagues or, in 3rd grade's case, some booster club tournaments during January and February. Teams are established later in fall in an effort to accomodate any special ride requests and balanced rosters.
4th Grade: 8-10 players per team – Teams will be divided based on skill level with Black, Silver and Maroon teams, if applicable. While ACBC will work to keep team #'s as balanced as possible, team composition is ultimately based on skill level.
5th Grade: 8-10 players per team – Teams will be divided based on skill level with Black, Silver and Maroon teams, if applicable. While ACBC will work to keep team #'s as balanced as possible, team composition is ultimately based on skill level.
6th Grade: 8-10 players per team – Teams will be divided based on skill level with Black, Silver and Maroon teams, if applicable. While ACBC will work to keep team #'s as balanced as possible, team composition is ultimately based on skill level.
7th Grade: 8-10 players per team – Teams will be divided based on skill level with Black and Silver teams, if applicable. While ACBC will work to keep team #'s as balanced as possible, team composition is ultimately based on skill level.
8th Grade: 8-10 players per team – Teams will be divided based on skill level with Black and Silver teams, if applicable. While ACBC will work to keep team #'s as balanced as possible, team composition is ultimately based on skill level.
